" I had booked my car for a 12.00 pick up and basically when checking in circa 12.15 I was told there would be a short delay and the car would be available in 15 mins. On going to the pick up area I had to wait for another 60 mins for my car and I eventually left the car hire area at 13.30. A totally frustrating experience as altough the desk staff in the pick up area were courteous and polite there was very little feedback to me as to what had happened or was happening. "

Three weeks later my account was refunded. During this three week period I received no email or correspondence explanation. Totally unprofessional & obviously a dissatisfied customer is treated by Hertz as a nuisance. "

" When I booked the car I choice the additional insurance which I expected was with Hertz. I was shocked when the Hertz representative asked me if I'd like to upgrade my insurance. I said no that I had already upgraded it. He then had to explain that the additional insurance was with Auto Europe and not Hertz. I feel completely cheated by this as it was not what I believed I had signed up to. Due to this experience I will never use Auto Europe again. "

" I have always booked car hire with auto europe and very happy up to now. When booking this car hire which was for a family holiday, I booked two seats for my children and it said there would be an extra cost when getting the car. The extra cost was €138 which is a complete rip off. I could have bought two new seats for that money. Hertz said that it was auto europe rate and not there rate. I will be sending an email with a complaint about the price and will then cancel my account with auto europe if nothing is done about it. "

Upon returning the car I presented receipt from the petrol station and I have been advised petrol deposit will be returned to my CC. I have been waiting for weeks now and I still cannot see this being returned to my CC. Instead of charging me 80-90 euro for the additional cover, Hertz charged me 109,77 and I see no cash returned to my card. Can you please break down the charge and explain when can I expect the refund for additional payment? Thanks, "

" When I called to say my flight time was entered incorrectly. I would be arriving 2 hours later then posted on my original mail I was advised that I could change the order but at a considerable extra cost. When i rejected the offer I was advised I could change for a smaller extra fee. I rejected as I had inserted my flight number on the original order form. The correct way to answer this request was to tell me Auto Europe will call the company and advise them of the change. "

" This was the worst experience that we have had using Hertz, on arrival we queued for 20 minutes to be served, only one member of staff was on duty, in this time he served 2 customers. At the desk we were told that our car would take 10 minutes to arrive and to go to the Hertz cabin in the car park. Having provided the Hertz rep ( tony ) with our paper work he confirmed that the car was coming from T1. We waited a further 20 minutes for the car to arrive, we then enquired with him as to the car, he said the car was there and we checked the car for damage and had to have further damage recorded. the car was there all the time as I watched what cars arrived. we asked for directions to be told follow the signs the had no maps. Never again "
