" They debited 1200 euro from my credit card when the deposit was supposed to be 900 euro. They did not put a 'hold' on my card as expected, but actually debited the amount. It is now 7 working days since I dropped the car back and I have received no communications from them and no deposit despite trying to contact them through multiple channels. "

" Surprice is definitely a low cost company, no surprise there. Check-in and check-out counter at the Pisa Airport location was very poorly handled with little staff presence and line of customers waiting for a large amount of time (off-peak season). Our check-in was eventually handled by Carlos, introducing himself as Surprice or Auto One manager for Italy. We agreed to a paid upgrade for: 1) second driver, 2) higher car and 3) automated check-out promised with no need for waiting. Car was received and returned without any scratch (despite the check-out employee's best intention to try cornering us on that). Overall, mixed experience as the car was in very good condition but handling of process onsite felt dodgy with potential for unnecessary paid options. I will not use Surprice again. "

We arrived all together at the cash till and it was there just 1 person. The car had no spare tyre, nor a compressor, I had to ask for it, which has been taken from another car. The car war damaged, a tyre started to lose pressure after 20 mins I departed. I let the tyre be repaired at my cost, but I was irritated by the fact that another recent customer had the same experience. So seems not to be a casual happening. By retoruning the car, no one was told or even advised that you could return the car to the shuttle driver. Very poor. No need to book ever again with Surprise. No matter the price. "

" Because I refused to buy suplimentar insurance, they gave me a car completly dented by hail, and threat me to loose the excess. They refused to change it, and they said that if I am unhappy, I have to go. After I paid the extra insurance (47 euros) they gave me a decent car. "

" In the pick-up instructions included in our contract it stated to go outside the arrivals door - this was incorrect information. This caused us problems on the day and eventually we had to ring the office and wait again until the pick-up vehicle arrived. This was not a good start. I paid in advance for the car and my credit card was debited on 8th January. There was another Autoone debit on 13th January - this was unexpected and should not have happened; please refund this money (€22.34). I've written twice but I haven't received any reply yet. "
" Car was not cleaned properly as it was just myself & my son we did not go back to the desk. The car we got did not compare to the Audi 1 ordered. The car radio/display was in a foreign language (not Italian & not English; probably German) so we could not understand it and could not find out how to change it. This should really be set-up and prepared based on the details provided when hiring. he fuel tank was not full when we got the car. No information was provided regarding tank size in litres, that the car was a hybrid or anything that might help us when refuelling except that the car used gas & not diesel. This was not good customer service. When returning the car we refilled it to the top putting in over €37 of gas when only about €15 - €20 was required. Surprice benefits from this extra free fuel. This seems like a deliberate plan to get extra free fuel so I would respectfully request some of this money back please. When we returned the car we were told that everything was ok and just sign the bottom signature and to have a safe flight back. We were not informed of any issues whatsoever so we don't know why the extra charges. "
