" WARNING - DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY Returned the car early morning when their office was closed. Had been told to leave the key in the key box, which we did. We then took time-stamped photos of the car and left. Two and half days later they say we scratched the car and provided photos. When comparing with the photos we took after returning the car, it was clear these scratches did not exist when we returned the car. So either someone scratched it later (the car was covered in bird poop on their photos, so clearly been there for a while) or they are faking it. Having read reviews on the Internet, I now realise that there are hundreds of these pretend-scratch-cases from this company. We are going to report them to the Italian police for fraud. I hope AutoEurope will block this company from their website. "

" When we dropped off the vehicle it took 4 of them to inspect the vehicle (it was as if they were looking for faults!). They found a small indentation on the number plate (which someone has obvioulsy tipped off when we were parked), and while I acknowledge you are responsible for damage, it was extremely minimal. They then charged us €330 for the damage and administration fees!. They also charged us €10 for extra cleaning (It is small money I know but it was the principle of it). We asked where was the extra cleaning and she told us that the front car mat was extra dirty ( it was normal dirt from shoes getting in and out, my own car at home is dirtier than what we gave back). We really just found they were looking for things to charge us on (it does not take 4 people to check a vehicle!). We have rented cars all over the world and I would never use them again. They were not very friendly in both the office and the shuttle service either!. The day we came to pick up the vehicle we waited ages to be picked up and then the lady at the counter was on the phone constantly while we were sitting there trying to do all the paperwork so we delayed leaving the office. Like i said when we dropped the car back we waited for at least 15 minutes before every staff member there on the day inspected the car!. Would definitely not recommend them to anyone ! "
