" Ist gear tends to be jumpy, which explains the minor paint graze. The staff person told me there was slight damage on the soft bumper part but I could not see it. She was very pleasant and efficient and I accepted the situation but feel hard done by. "

" Car was not available for collection at specified and agreed time. I had to wait over two hours for the car to become available despite having phoned the car hire office the day before to double-check and confirm pick up time. When I returned the car, there was no one available to check it. I had to give the keys to a National operative. The car had a scratch on the front passenger side bumper, and the National debited a total of €1000 from my credit card. I made a claim to the company with whom I have an annual CDW insurance. They require invoices for the debit from my credit card to process my claim. I have requested these invoices twice by email (and again a third time today) and have still not received the invoices. I am very annoyed about this. The company seems very disorganised indeed in the Avignon office and I will never agree to hire a car with them again. "
