" My main problem was with the attitude of a male staff member ..he actually said that if people went for the cheap rental car and then expected a Mercedes! He was dismissive and implied we were cheap.....what did we expect if we chose a small Internet car? This was in sharp contrast with the previous rental, also from Interent at Ciampino, where the counter staff were extremely pleasant and courteous (the pick up was nearer the airport). The lady this time was courteous but cold as ice! We do look for the best deals and are usually happy to take the economy cars as we are on a budget...as many people are. You need to value all customers equally, even old and budget conscious! The only problem with the car was the air conditioning which was sometimes not effective. "

" Firstly a very hard sell to take out insurance. A bus ride to pick up point. Bus driver said he didn't know where inter rents plot was! Leaving back vehicle was a nightmare. Inadequate signage. Arrived at inter rent depot but on the wrong side of the wire fence. Staff most unhelpful. Finally arrived at correct spot. After a brief check on car "all ok" you have insurance of course. When I said "no" a detailed check followed! I then had to ask for a confirmation receipt. Very unhappy. "

" As above for Interrent- Re: Auto Europe- I have used your service a number of times and this is the first time I have really had an issue with the rental. The fact that it is not always clear until you book/ pay for your car who the rental company is may change my mind going forward whether to book direct or auto Europe, however, price will also dictate who I go with. I will say that the rental on this occasion wasn't too dear- I did however book nearly 9 months in advance and paid in full upfront so I'd expect some value for that but would I have paid more to be closer to the airport, for a quicker turn around at the desk and for the car to be clean, tidy and without all of the above- more than likely "
" I'll start by saying the staff at the desk were very friendly and this feedback does not reflect on them as such. There were however a number of issues; 1. We had to wait over 45 minutes to be served/ recieve our keys. There was three people in the queue ( not a large no.) and everyone seemed to have pre-booked but it still took over 45 mins before we were processed- I believe this is way too long to expect people with kids etc to wait after a flight- the system needs to be reviewed. 2. The location of the rental parking- parking for Interrent is not with any of the other rental companies. I have rented cars on a number of occasions at Bergemo and found that Interrent is way too far away from the terminal- or the transport to it needs to be improved. On the journey to the vehicle it took approximately 30 mins from the time we began waiting till when we were dropped off & when we were dropped it was another walk ( no signs anywhere) to the carpark. It was on the return journey that were directed to a bus stop directly opposite Interrent which was closer- why can't the bus drop here? On the way back it took again 30 minutes from the commencement of our wait until we arrived at arrivals- not good enough.- all the other rental companies are a short walk from the arrivals hall. 3. The vehicle- we got the exact type of vehicle which we booked- Excellent, however it was filthy- there were stains on the seat, a lot of dust in the cockpit area, the car had not been washed and there was loads of dog hair all over the boot- this was more annoying as both of my children have asthma and it was a concern for me. There was a lot of damage on the vehicle which was not recorded which I had to bring to the attention of the staff ( who were very helpful)- the only door lock was damaged and the key would not manually open the car so if the battery went dead in the key or car we would of been locked out. Also the car was missing a front hubcap which made it looked realy unkept- I suggest something as simple as getting a hubcap fitted should be along with the lock issue prior to rent. "

" The experience overall has been very good. The new in airport office and car park is great. Personell are efficient and helpful. The only negative bite is about the car: loads of medium body damaged, boot cover missing, very dirty outside and just decent insiede with smell of cigarettes. Windscreen water missing which is not ideal if you pick up the car in the evening with two children and don't kbow where to stop to refill to continue a seafty drive. "

" I have been hiring cars with AutoEurope for a number of years, but I can safely say this will be my last time. After the way we were treated by your 'partner' Interrent I will be sure to never avail of your services again. "
" I will not be using this service again. This company is set up to con its customers with the only view of extorting money. We arrived to pick up the car and there were long queues, by the time we finally got to the counter we were told that because we were late (we queued for over one hour) the booking was no longer in place and we'd have to make a whole new reservation (even though our original reservation was already booked and paid in full). I asked to see a manager and was told there was nobody around. I explained the only reason why we were 1 hour late is because we had been queuing and we were told it didn't matter. Next, the operator pulled out some leaflet showing Interrent terms and conditions saying if the pickup took place after 50 minutes from the time of pick-up specified in the voucher they reserved the right to cancel the booking. I argued that I had accepted AutoEurope terms and conditions rather than Interrent ones, but was told to either pay up or to go somewhere else. I am extremely annoyed at this disservice. We had to pay for a whole new reservation and we effectively paid double for our car. What Interrent had done is illegal, immoral, not to mention criminal. This experience put a terrible start to our holiday and I will never use Interrent and AutoEurope again. "

" I have rented a lot of cars over the years and understand that there are often difficulties but this was by far the worst experience renting a car that I have ever had. Our flight was delayed by 40 minutes and then we had to queue for another 20 minutes making us exactly 61 minutes late which meant our car rental was cancelled and we had to pay again. The terms state the car will be cancelled if 'late' it does not state a time. The person at the counter, Paula was rude and extremely difficult to deal with. She then told us our car was in space 10 - which it was not. We tried pressing the 'unlock' button on the key to find the car but this did not work so we had to go back in to her. She said the key unlocking only works if unlocking the car via the door as the key was not working and gave us the registration. When we were returning the car there was no where to park so we just had to leave it and return the key. I will NEVER rent via Auto Europe or with InterRent ever again after this experience and will be letting others know also. "

Proceeded with booking, I didn't have pin for credit card and they wouldn't input credit card manually unless I paid €120 extra for full insurance. I have my own insurance so wouldn't pay. I didn't take the car an lost my deposit €39 +€30 taxi fare. "

I spent 1 hour trying to call your office on the number provided. I was then transferred to another office after some time I received an automated message. I could not hear the directions to get the shuttle bus. I tried to call the office 4 more times. I eventually met another couple with the same confusion as myself. And we followed other people meeting their shuttle bus. A separate email containing this information would have been a super help. I was 1.5 hrs late picking up my rental car. "
