During the final call with europcar, a colleague demanded that I had to be present to get the car collected. My wife explained repeatedly that I was in hospital post surgery and unable to go to the car. The colleague did not accept this, only when my wife asked what would happen if I had died...would europcar demand that she bring my body to the car, did the colleague relent. This was already a stressful situation. The lack of any empathy from europcar was astonishing. One of your colleagues just hung up on her noting she would return her call...she had no phone number of my wife to do this. Overall, I am disappointed with europcar. No one has contacted me to advise if the car has been picked up or where my belongings, which were in the car, are. "

The car we were given had a large gash down the passenger side, from front bumper to back, europcar had no interest in re examining or noting the damage. They refuse to make notes on their system and insusted instead that I hold on to a piece of paper, telling me if I loose it the damage is attributed to me. On returning they still attempted to attribute the damage to me, at first even with dated photos until.i threatenes to call europcar international.
