" Initially I was told that I should have taken insurance from Drivalia when I dealt with girl at counter citing the hassle of claiming refunds from Autoeurope. I knew from the outset then that difficulties would arise. The van itself was badly damaged on rear wheel arch. Front left wing and boot. I collected can at night and no staff were present at pick up car park. I luckily took a video of all damage. Then I returned vehicle and received a charge of 378€ for damage to boot. They don't respond to emails. I cannot but think this is fraud as the charge was pitched at a price that may go uncontested. I don't know of any bodywork shop that could fix the damage for 378€ "

The child seat is a ripoff anyway as it's in bad condition and the price as new is not more than 50-80 eur, I don't understand how is possible to pay for the entire car 220 eur and for a dirty old child seat 108eur? There were only two employees at the counters handling this mob, and neither of them seemed in a particular hurry. Three excruciating hours later, with my patience waning and my feet sore, it was finally my turn. No apologies were given, no explanations provided, just a curt "Name and reservation number?" as if I had just walked in. The process of renting a car, which should be straightforward and efficient, was turned into an ordeal that drained half my day. To their credit, the car itself was in decent condition and drove well. But the sheer inefficiency and lack of customer care at the start cast a dark shadow over the entire experience. I rent cars frequently for both business and leisure, but this was by far the most harrowing experience I've ever endured. " We waited an hour and a half to collect our car on arrival. This is far too long. The girl at the desk was lovely but on her own, dealing with a long queue on a Sat night. As you are aware ofcegen bookings are due to arrive, surely you should match staff numbers to bookings. There was no one to help with finding the car then which took another 20 minutes as it was at the very back of the parking lot and it was pitch dark at this stage. In total, almost 2 hours from arrival at collection to leaving is far from satisfactory. There was no one to hand over the car to on return either but at least there was only one person ahead of us at the counter andc2 assistants working "
