" They did not have the vehicle I ordered and had to arrange a similar vehicle from Avis/Budget. I am now waiting for Dollar (Hertz) to refund the cost of hiring the other vehicle. Whilst the staff were helpful enough, this caused some delay and anxiety until it was resolved. Cannot understand how they did not have my vehicle in the first place! "

" the only problem was we had to go to the Hertz desk which we were not aware of so after queing at the desk with the Auto Europe sign we had to queue again for a substantial time at the Hertz desk. "
" At the Hertz check in for collecting the car they used a ticket system which totally favoured Hertz customers. We were told initially the wait would be 10 minutes but as more Hertz customers arrived, we were constantly put to the back of the queue. It took at least 40 minutes for us to be attended to. Only one person on the desk. Surely they would have known they were going to have a busy period with pre-bookings so they should have had more staff on duty. Customers were asking for someone to check the damage on their car but no one there to help. I will not be using them again. Will stick with my reg company. Also a general comment: it was difficult to find the rental car area outside of main terminal building due to lack of signage. "

Its a shame you end up paying a basic "good deal" price online and inevitably you end up forking out more when you get to the service desk of the actual hire company to pay anything from a little to a lot to be completely covered. " Dollar do not have DOLLAR on display anywhere at any of their desks in Treviso - I had to ask a competitor who told me to go to the Hertz/Firefly desk. Am I only one that doesn't know they are related? "

The first car arrived within a half hour but had a puncture and then we waited over another half hour for a replacement equivalent car . We could easily have been offered an upgrade . Instead we had to stand in a car park for the duration . No seating available "
