" A 2.5 hour waiting time from arrival at the Keddy/Europcar desk at Nice Airport to exiting the airport was totally unacceptable. We had to alter travel plans for our arrival day as a consequence of this gross inefficiency. The wait to get the desk was overlong and the time taken at the desk was also overlong - particularly as the number of customers was about 20 and there were 8 - 10 staff at the desks. Also, the car was parked so tightly that it was also impossible to access. The smallest member of our group had to be squeezed into the car to get it out of the parking space. Screen readouts in the car were in Cyrillic alphabet with no indication as to how to switch to English - it took about 20 minutes for a member of staff to resolve the issue. Overall a very bad and frustrating experience with Keddy/Europcar. "

" I asked for snow chains for a CITROEN C3, I was told that for an extra €75 I could up grade the car however the new car cost was €140, I said nothing and signed. I left the car back with little fuel, I was charged €19 for refueling (happy with this) however I was charged €3.24 per litre then 20% VAT, total cost €174 to fill tank. Why not charge €20 a litre!! " Interior of car was filthy. A melted sweet left in central cubby left my toll tag covered in sticky goo which got all over my fingers when I held it up at the toll barrier in Nice on the A8. The rest of the interior was covered in dog hairs- I had to take the car to a car wash centre in Menton and use the coin operated car vac to clean it out -it took 4 goes of the car vac to remove as much of the dog hairs as possible. Also being charged €10 per day do drive across the border into Italy or Monaco was an unwelcome sursurprise which I have never encountered before in the last 20 years of renting cars in Nice. Monaco isn't even a proper country ffs. Also the contract for the previous renters was still in the glove box, it's probably still there. "

Voucher no EU 15106241 From 7th to 10th September 2018 I was quoted €144.54 and gave my debit card details on booking. On arrival there, I didn't have the credit card, only a debit, so my father in law paid the €800 deposit with his credit card. He also paid for the extra driver fee and became the main driver, €44. Then on return to the airport we discovered a tiny dent where a stone must have flown up from the road and hit the passenger door. I paid €300 on the spot for this. The girl told me this was enough to cover the scratch. I specifically asked that no further monies be taken from my father in laws deposit, I would pay any further fees due, but on his recent return we discovered that a further €169.91 was taken. I would like to know what for? I feel there was a mistake made. Could you please send me a breakdown of the whole account in English as I don't speak french? Lots of information was given before I take the car. Also, I had to check the car on my own and came back to the office to show off marks that were supposed to be known by their staff. The marks were written on the doc afterwards. Second, when I returned the car, I patiently waited to talk to staff as he was checking a row of customers before me. I understand they were busy and I don't see any problem in waiting for my turn. Third, nobody come over to me with a invoice. I had to ask for it and a staff oriented me to go to the Europcar section (in the terminal) to ask about it. I went there carrying my luggage to claim for the invoice. A staff printed it off for me and than I realized that the fee for returning the car to another place would be charged from my deposit, which means my international credit card. But, it differs from the information given at the Marseille airport once the staff said it wouldn't be charged from my international credit card and I could pay it normally with my european debit card. I tried to explain it to the person in front of me and he said he couldn't do anything. Also, the amount was supposed to be €79.26 but it was charged €101.75. I asked about this and he said that the €79.26 is the amount without VAT (what is completely wrong as without VAT the value is €66.05) Unfortunately, I already was impatient at this stage and I would have to take the flight very soon. Now, here I am wasting my time to explain about all your mistakes and also to highlight the unfair WHOLE DAY charge that are being applied. Anyway, none of this is my fault and lots of wrong information were given to me. I need it to be fixed. 1) no extra day fee. 2) no charges on my international credit card. " Car hired in Marseille Airport & left back to Nice Train Station.No problems whatsoever with car however I was unable to locate the Europcar drop off location. I phoned Auto Europe helpline stressed as I was unable to find the correct location only to be informed by your assistant that 'I would have to look for it'. I find this totally unacceptable and would ask that more information regarding drop-off locations be made available to customers.Spent over an hour driving around the vicinity of Nice train station in very heavy traffic & extremely stressed at this point, Eventually found a car park and on entering found a Europcar sign on the wall.In view of this very unpleasant experience I wish to request a full refund for total car hire cost "

" Car Rental signage for rental returns is non existent at the Airport, maybe a sign at the entrance to airport to "drive to roundabout and then 200metres turn right on to dirt track" which looks like a building site might make it a lot easier for clients. When we mentioned this to the girl at the deskshe just laughed and said she has no problem as she drives there every day haha "

" When I picked up the car on Saturday 27th June, I enquired at the desk about getting a GPS device. I had not pre booked this. The lady I was dealing with said she would check if the car had it's own GPS device and then returned with a GPS unit to plug into the car. I only noticed later that day when I got to my destination that the car actually has built in GPS so a separate device was not necessary. I do not feel I should have to pay for the hire of this device as I only accepted it based on information provided by Europcar staff that the car I hired did not have built in GPS. Could you please confirm that the cost of the hire of this device will not be charged to my card or that a refund will be issued? "
" Almost 1 hour standing in queue to collect car. Europcar had at least 4 service desks unattended. Spoke with staff member who simply said they did not expect to be busy on a Tuesday, but surely their system should have shown the number of customers due to pick up cars. "

" We were sold a full tank of fuel on the basis that we would be travelling over 500k and were advised that the rate per litre of their offer was 20c per litre better than at the pumps. Firstly, we did well over 500k and had plenty of fuel left in the tank and secondly fuel was only about 2 cent dearer at most petrol stations "
