" The car had a lot of superficial scratches. Although it was a tiny car we had to stand in the 35 degree heat for 15 minutes whilst each scratch noted. On returning the same 15 process resulted in some tiny scratches being identified as new. I confirmed they were not new and ECH employee asked me to sign form so it could be entered into their system. I did sign only because he confirmed there was no monetary impact of this. They then sent me a bill for €350 that I now have to dispute. Ridiculous treatment. "

" Counter staff were pushy, trying to get us to pay for their insurance although we had taken extra with Auto Europe. Car collection staff disinterested and did not do job properly. Furious with being charged by damage that we did not cause. Would not recommend Easy car hire at all "

" They try very hard, but in a polite way to sell extra insurance, I refused, and it was OK. The waiting time was reasonable. The car was in very good condition (almost new), clean and beautiful, but they have tricked me with the fuel level (the policy was 3/4 tank, I have filled it to 100% when I was 110 KM away, and when I returned the car it was still 100%). When I have returned the car I smelled disappointment that they have not find any damage, after long and careful inspection. Overall it was good experience, considering the price paid (it was almost free, if I exclude excess refund coverage). "

However, Easycarhire charged me the sum instead of just holding it as a bond. All attempts to contact the company via email have been unsuccessful. None of the emails has been answered. "
