" Auto Europe generally have the best prices among all the aggregators. They are usually better than the airlines or travel agents' options. They are easy to search, and easy to book with. Cancellation policies are good also, and work well. "
" The genial desk agent at ATL added additional insurances despite my clear verbal decline. The rental contract cannot be inspected at the counter before signing - they email it to you. In fairness to their customer care, when I complained about the additional charges they took them off. Luckily I inspected the contract the next morning and emailed them instantly. It would, I imagine, be much more difficult to get a refund if the coverage period had elapsed. This is my second experience with Sixt desk agents pulling a fast one on me (the other was over fuel in Faro, Portugal, in January 2023), so I recommend customers exercise strict vigilance and do not trust what they say. On the other hand, the car was excellent, and great value for money otherwise. "

" Particular Sixt at Denver airport is quite meticulous about scratches on the rental vehicle. The man behind the counter asked me to inspect the vehicle thoroughly at the time of pick up. But the task was beyond my limits as the lot is open and it was dark :) When returning the vehicle Sixt representative marked few minor scratches that he claimed to be new as they were not on his file. While I'm pretty sure they did not happen on my watch. Eventually I was not charged for those, although I'm not sure were they too minor or my insurance has covered them. "

" I contacted auto Europe customer support during my collection ordeal with Sixt and they were very helpful and put my mind at ease "
" I felt very unhappy and uncomfortable when collecting the car, the staff member I initially delt with was aggressive and pushing for me to pay extra to upgrade my car. When I said I didn't want to pay extra for an upgrade he said my car would not be ready for a couple of hours and I'd have to pay extra for insurance, he then told me to go away and come back in a couple of hours, worst experience I've ever had picking up a hire car. I was actually nervous when I went back to collect the car that he would continue his aggressive pressure selling approach but luckily I was able to deal with a different member of staff with no issues. The car was also dirty on collecting it but the rest of my rental and return of the car was great "
