" Particular Sixt at Denver airport is quite meticulous about scratches on the rental vehicle. The man behind the counter asked me to inspect the vehicle thoroughly at the time of pick up. But the task was beyond my limits as the lot is open and it was dark :) When returning the vehicle Sixt representative marked few minor scratches that he claimed to be new as they were not on his file. While I'm pretty sure they did not happen on my watch. Eventually I was not charged for those, although I'm not sure were they too minor or my insurance has covered them. "

" I originally had booked a rental with another company but after reading their reviews online I changed my mind and cancelled that booking. I chose auto Europe/Alamo online and I was really surprised how easy the process all was. From the online booking which took me 5 minutes to picking up the car about 5-10 mins (we also got an upgrade which is always nice) and the drop off was like 2 mins. All pleasant staff and a very smooth operation. Thank you "

I had a nice car with Dollaron this trip, but it smelled. On investigation, I found that the wheel well was full of water, and I believe that is what was making the smell. I took out several buckets of water and towel dried the boot. I reported the issue, but decided it was too much hassle to change the car. Otherwise, the car was excellent "

I almost wasn't able to get my car because I presented my American driving license -- of course I saw that having a European driving license was a requirement in the fine print of the agreement, but I don't remember seeing this when I signed up. The new car they gave us had obviously not been cleaned, but they insisted it was a "brand new" car. " I was disappointed that the infant seat that I had pre ordered wasn't ready when we arrived. It was taken from a dusty lock up and had to be cleaned before use. Also, we had to check out a few seats before an appropriate seat was found. This put an extra 30 mins onto our wait period before we could leave for our destination. "

" My rental with Auto Europe was very good and your phone help line was very good. I do have a problem with my rental . I PAID twice for the same rental. I have to say that Auto Europe was very helpful in every way your agent even spoke directly with the Dollar staff member at the desk and was unable to get satisfaction about paying a No show fee. I have sent your company an email on the 12th of June and I am awaiting a reply. I must say that Auto Europe have been very helpful and I am very satisfied with the service I have received in all my car rentals this summer. Regards, Fergus Lynch. 3rd July 2012 "
" The car I got from Dollar was fine. The service and treatment I got from Dollar was very bad I made every effort to contact Dollar at SFO Airport to let them know that I would be 10 hours late in collecting my car and could not get a reply. I know it was a Sunday and I did wait over an hour on my mobile phone, I did not mind this because it was a Sunday. When I got to Dollar at SFO airport they put my down as a No Show. and would not allow me to pay a No show Fee Auto Europe's agent spoke the the Dollar Staff no satisfaction. Auto Europe agent sorted a new rental agreement which was very helpful. I was told that the Car I rented was the same car that had been originally allocated. "

" I rang Hertz pick up point to advise I would be a couple of hours late collecting car. They told me they no longer had my car as it was more than 30 min after the pick up time even though it was prepaid but to 'come down and see what they could do'. When I got there they gave me another similar car. A warning should be given at booking time about giving exact pick up times in central New York. Difficult to do when you are traveling a distance and booking in advance. "
