" Apart from the extra charges that I received , Europcar in Faro were very professional and I received my car straight away , and had no issues with the car , when I returned the car it was easy to find and was taken off me straight away and I received my deposit back within 2 working days. I would gladly deal with Europcar again directly, I will never use Auto Europe again!! "
" When I purchased my rental car from keddy I read the terms and conditions of the agreement which outlined I was not obliged to pay a young driver surcharge as I was over 22. I paid extra for excess cover which entitled me to extra cover for windscreen and tyres and waiver protection which entitled me to not have to pay an excess. However when I got to europcar in faro I was told that everything I had bought was exempt as I was classed at a young driver at age of 23 and I had to pay an extra €111 on top of already paying €150. Autoeurope states that there are no hidden fees, however I feel this is misleading as I got charged extra when i clearly read the terms of the rental! "

" Car Hire premises and their garage were very nice. Has to wait over one hour to collect car and had to wait 30 minutes to return the car. Had to pay almost ?35 for one week's Assistance. Assistance is a chargeable extra. Assistance is not covered in the event of a normal breakdown. Assistance is covered in the event of an accident. The lady at the desk said we could be liable to ?1,000s and assistance could be hours away. I stated the was a "scam" and all cars in Europe have Assistance as standard to my knowledge (for free) . Our car was only three months old. My confidence on all the insurance was blown at this stage. We had no alternative but to pay up under protest. I as for these rule to be sent in an e-mail, naturally nothing... "

No problems when we got to the hire company, everything we needed to know was explained, ie. optional additional fees (toll), and the money blocked on the card. All simple enough and not stressful in the least. "

His attitude was quite patronising. Once u git the car every other aspect was fine I travel to Portugal a lot and feel that a more inexperienced traveller might have purchased unnecessary upgrades "

" All was mostly satisfactory. No mention was made of Keddy in the airport as all was dealt with by Europcar.this was misleading. I foolishly allowed myself to be sold a recovery service which I already had cover for on my annual excess cover. Assurance was given at the desk to the effect that there was a spare wheel in the car but this proved to be flat upon examination when collecting the vehicle. As I did not suffer a puncture this eventually was irrelevant. Notwithstanding the above, all of the Europcar staff were very efficient and welcoming. The car was in excellent condition and performed perfectly for the duration of the hire. Return was very efficient and whilst the lady who inspected the car sai "all is OK ", no return doc was given "
