" My problem is that I booked an suv and when got to counter there were none. We had 5 individuals with luggage so could not accept other cars been offered like Mercedes so had to take a corollla estate . T this car had broken air conditioner in the backseat. Given the temperatures in Portugal and because my autistic child ( 6 yrs old) required drives to regular it was very uncomfortable for her. The man at the desk did try his best but no other cars were available. I used AutoEurope last year and was delighted with experience but will avoid hertz "

" Drop back very poor note left in car to drop at office on road coming in which we went to do gate open so went in to find office closed. Drove on to airport no one on returns and huge line at desk so we just had to leave key in box without someone checking the car with us and it was only 730 pm most unusual. We had no problems with the car and left it back full I just wish someone was able to tick the box with me There "
" Auto Europe to display a tick box or sentence (in bold or larger writing) on front of voucher stating "free additional driver" so that car hire agent can see immediately and not have me (the client) to turn over the page and point it out to the car hire agent. I usually highlight this additional driver sentence to attract the agents attention and point it out to them. "
" Very fast and efficient service. Good quality car fleet. Told Hertz I had free additional driver and they took second driver details, but tried to charge additional driver on return of car. Hertz did not inform me that there would be a charge for the use of the toll road fob in the car like other car hire companies do "
