" There was an issue with the credit card that we couldn't lock the required 1500€ cover. As a result we had to pay 144€ to reduce the cover limit to 300€. The price is determined based upon the no of renting days which doesn't make sense as the excess is the same whatever the rental lenght is. Considering the renting of the car was around 70€ and already included the cover for excess reimbursement from autoeurope, I found this was a total steal. We tried giving another credit card but they didn't accept it because it was under another name. Reflecting on this afterwards we think adding a name driver would have costed us less but they didn't accept that solution neither. I regret we paid the extra money, we should just have walked to another provider. "

" The think I didn't like was that the online booking process was not upfront about the inclusive insurance policy. i.e. I wanted a policy excluding the CDW since I already had coverage. This fine print issue came up only after I was at the counter to pick up and asked to turn down the CDW only to be told it was mandatory to have because it was in the booking made with Auto Europe and could not be changed. I felt like this was underhanded and like a bit of a trap, and had to pay more money to reduce the deductible to a level that my policy already had. "

" Overall is was quite good. Too much time was wasted whilst picking up the car. This should be quicker. Returning the car was very quick though. I would prefer to pay my own m50 toll, it`s cheaper! I wasn`t told it would cost me extra for Sixt to pay that for me! Wasn`t too pleased about that. The car I received was very economical, I was very happy about that. All service staff were very pleasant and helpful. "
