" I had reserved & paid for an Intermediate SUV. I was provided with a Compact SUV 19th Dec. I felt the Girl at the desk in Dublin was aware of this down grade and rushed me from the desk before I could make comment. I called Enterprise (General Number) the following day who told me a Nissan Juke was not an intermediate SUV (thinking this was a general enquiry). I contacted Enterprise Dublin Airport (Finally got through after a few days of trying), initially they tried to convince me that an Nissan Juke was an intermediate until I advised them of my phone call with Enterprise office), they subsequently apologies and changed my car on the 23rd of Dec. Which I had to pickup in Limerick, Enterprise offered €50 credit for this inconvenience which I have yet to see. I dropped off the Juke with 15/16 of a tank of Fuel, was provided an empty tank on the Peugeot 3008, I requested it similarly fueled and was advised that they would provide a fuel credit of €50 as they had no one to release to fill the tank, again I have not seen this. The car was returned early on the 27th December with half a tank of fuel, Enterprise returned the €178 unused full Insurance I had paid. Though I was happy with the quality of the cars provided, I had to drive for 5 days with a car less than what I had paid for, this was disappointing. I feel Enterprise capitalize and take full advantage on the travel weary passenger who arrives at their desk. "

" I am unhappy with my overall experience with Enterprise rental car. The 1st car they provided me a Nissan Micra broke down on the motorway outside Tuam the evening of July 19th at 7:45pm. I called Enterprise and was directed to roadside assistance through their telephone service. Roadside Assistance advised that they would send someone out to me, but that in the meantime that I still needed to call Enterprise. I called Enterprise again and again, no response, no return call for my voicemail message either. Tow truck arrived 2 hours later and towed me to the Enterprise car center outside of Galway City which was closed for the evening. This Enterprise office/center was in the back of an Industrial Estate. The tow truck driver advised me to wait in the car until a Security Guard came to pick up the key. I still had not heard back from Enterprise. The tow truck driver advised Roadside Assistance of this situation and called Enterprise as well. This was 10pm at night, the tow truck driver took off, no security guard came and nobody from Enterprise had yet called me. I called again. I finally received a call from Katie who was located somewhere in Galway, but didn't come to help, she advised that the Dublin office had to take care of the situation as I picked up the car in Dublin. Michael from the Dublin office finally called me back – again nice person but was totally unhelpful. Told me to get a Taxi – I had to remind him several times that I didn't know where I was – I didn't have an address for my location and did not have the number of a Taxi. Asked him to call me a taxi – he did not. At this point I was extremely concerned for my safety – I was in a back lot of an Industrial Estate with nothing only closed businesses around me. I was scared. This was approaching 11pm at night. This should never happen!!! Michael finally told me that nobody would be out to collect the key and again told me to get a Taxi. Again, I had to remind him that I did not know where I was. At this point I had also missed my evening events and my friends were extremely concerned for me. Finally, a friend left the event that I was scheduled to attend and came and rescued me. Not alone was I impacted by Enterprise's lack of customer support and concern; it impacted my friends evening as well. Michael from the Dublin office said he would follow up to ensure that I got to a hotel safely- I'm still waiting for that call! Furthermore, he told me that he would arrange to have a vehicle ready for me when the office opened at 8am the next day. He did not! I waited at my hotel the morning of July 20th in case I would miss a call from Enterprise. I waited from 8am – 11am and never received any updates or even a call. I missed another event as a result. Finally at 11am I called them and I was told to go back out to the Enterprise Center to pick up a car. I asked to be picked up. They told me to take a Taxi that I would be reimbursed. I asked that the office pay the Taxi when I got there, they said they couldn't do that as I had picked up the car in Dublin. Enterprise should never advertise that they pick you up – It's not true. Finally at 12:3pm on the 20th I'm given a replacement car. I finally got a call from Aishling a supervisor in the Dublin Office at approximately 4:30pm to apologize. I told her that all staff were very pleasant but not one person really helped me or showed any consideration for the situation. In order to make things right she said that she would reimburse me 2 days rental and that it would be processed in 7-10 days. I have not yet received that reimbursement. In addition, she told me to keep the receipt for my Taxi and that it would be reimbursed to me when I returned the car to Dublin. I returned the car to Dublin last Monday (August 12th). I told the young man who greeted me that I was due a reimbursement for both the 2 days rental and the taxi fare. He didn't know anything about it, said he couldn't do it there and would email the Accounts department re: both items. I asked to be copied on that email request. He verified my email address and assured me that I would receive a copy of that email – I did not! To date I have not received any follow up from Enterprise and have not received my reimbursement for the 2 missed days, or the taxi fare of 18Euro. I am really upset with the whole situation and how I was treated. I'm always an understanding and patient person, but this situation has tested my limits. I hope that AutoEurope can help me get a resolution. I also wanted to share my experience in the hope that others are not subjected to awful treatment. "

" It's not fully enterprise their fault but when I booked it trough autoeurope it stated "full to full" for the fuel. When I came there the fuel was empty. We had to return it with the same amount and obviously couldn't return it with the same amount so we lost money on that. It also stated in the terms and conditions that the deposit is €500. When I came there the deposit was €1650 and unfortunately that would've been over my limit so I had to purchase an insurance of €52 so that the deposit dropped down to €250. I already had a third party insurance so this was again an absolute waste of money due to misinforming. The car itself was from 2016 with 80.000km. The suspension or shock absorber were extremely bad as there were loud bangs throughout the entire drive. It was very unpleasant. Overall I absolutely didn't like the rental experience which is a shame. I have rented a lot of times with a bunch of different companies but this one is far out the worst. Which I find a shame. "
