" I have used your website on two previous occasions and have found it very good to use. However, your statement in the voucher you sent me on this occasion that "Rental includes additional driver fees (for drivers over 25) & first tank of fuel." was very misleading in that the Budget agent I dealt with made it very clear that I would be billed for fuel unless I returned the car fully fuelled, which meant that my rental did not cover the "first tank of fuel". You really need to rectify this misleading statement. "
" I had booked a Ford Explorer or equivalent, which Budget classify as a "Standard Elite SUV" but was instead given a Mazda CX-9, which I discovered later Budget class as a "Standard SUV, Ford Edge or equivalent", which is a drop down in class. The Budget agent did not indicate that he was doing this. When I rang Budget customer service about this, they told me that I could either change the car at any of their locations (providing the location had a Ford Explorer or equivalent available) or they would refund the difference in cost if I did not do this during the rental period. I did not change the car since it would have taken time out of my vacation to call to one of their locations (and there was no guarantee given that they would have a Ford Explorer or equivalent available to give me). While the car provided proved adequate and comfortable to drive, I feel that not informing me of the downgrade was akin to sharp practice. I also note that there was an additional $0.26 charged to my credit card by Budget on Sunday, the day on which I returned the car, without any indication for the reason for this charge and although I returned the car fully fuelled. While it is a very small charge, I would be grateful for an indication of why it was levied. Given that I paid for the car through you, I would also be grateful if you would pass on to me any refund that Budget return to you regarding their provision of a cheaper car than I paid for. Immediately after picking up the car, I also have to point out to the Budget representative on their Exit gate in Phoenix that the well in the driver's door had not been cleaned properly and there appeared to be some toffee in it. Later, I also found cocktail sticks in the well in the front passenger door, indicating that the cleaning of the car had not been carefully checked out before it was given to me. "

" At the start counter staff member was talking nonsense like he was high about something that we need to open and close , open and close apparently we was talking about the tool roads tag, that later when we left we noticed that there was no such a thing in the car, so why did he even spoke about it. " good quality car for the purpose of our visit-family wedding in Nashville. parking charges were very expensive in multi-storey parks but i felt we needed security ,which street parking could not provide, as the crowds for Columbus holiday were hectic and rowdy which i did not expect. police very casual about our concerns for security which did not impress me, but we used taxis while in city centre [twice] as wedding was some ten miles outside [thankfully].
