" preordered childs seat wasn't ready,they had to organise it from a different rental company.it took nearly an hour to get everything sorted. we stated in the booking 8.30am as time for returning the car.However I got the time of our flight wrong and we had to return it early (8am). the guy was helpful and after I got through to him on the phone at 8 am he was there at 8.15. So I cant fault his customer service but Bene rent is too small and opening hours are not as long as some bigger rental companies. " We had to walk 10 mins with luggage to a car park. They were quite rude. They refused to identify damage on car when we picked it up. We had to try to identify all the marks on a very damaged car. They tried to blame us for damage that was there at the start of the rental. (They were also trying this with another customer). They were difficult and stressful to deal with and should not be used by Autoeurope as they will damage your reputation. " Information given by Auto Europe was misleading and lead to a bad customer experience. please see points outlined below, 1. The company (Benerent) is not located in Lisbon Airport nor do they have an office there, there is an 6-8 minute walk to a carpark where the paperwork is filled out and the car is handed over at the carpark paystation. 2. Zero Excess was listed in the add and was one of the reasons that attracted me to this company, when the car was hired they insisted on a 600 deposit and as at that point I had no other choice to pay. They said the zero excess was not offered by Benerent, this was between myself and Auto Europe. 3. Car booked and photo shown was a saloon car, actual car given was a hatchback punto. call for more "
" Company Rep has said that they had nothing to do with the poor information given and Auto Europe are fully aware of where the cars are picked up and the type of cars that they rent out, it was also said that there is no zero excess, that an excess of 600 is charged to each customer. on return of the car you have to walk to Terminal 1 and get the bus to Terminal 2 which is not good. I asked for a lift to Terminal 2 as I was late and I was told no, at the last minute the I was offered a lift as they were dropping a rep to Terminal 1. I really appreciated the lift. if the correct Information had been given from the start I would of had not rented from this company as this caused me great stress during my holiday "
