" I had an awful experience with the agent at Orlando airport. She rude, obnoxious and patronising. She told me I had to sign up for extras and when I refused she mocked me. She also lied saying that Florida toll lanes do not accept cash, which they do, and said I needed to sign up for a toll pass with them for $65 a week. I refused this and she sneered. When I got the car, it was dirty and had stains all over the front seats. I ended up going to another location the next day to exchange it. "

" I paid in full for the rental through AutoEurope. When i was at the Avis desk I was offered additional insurance to cover tyres and towing at a cost of approximately €45. I declined. I then advised that due to change of flight i would be leaving the car back 12 hours early (it was actually turned out to be 19 hours early). The girl at the desk said that they charge on an hourly basis and that I would be due a refund of approximately €95. On this basis I said I would accept the additional insurance and expected a credit of approximately €50. This was not forth coming and the girl made no sense in her explanation. I eventually gave up as she was wasting my time and I was getting nowhere. "

" You people shouldn't be in the car rental business. Firstly, the initial car I picked up at city plaza wasn't registered, which I didn't discover until we were well out of the city. Secondly, when I tried to trade it at Waltham, the kid running the counter didn't switch it to the right car. When I returned the vehicle, your system thought I had a different vehicle that I never had, and still hasn't marked the vehicle I returned as being returned. We are currently dealing with both Avis and Auto Europe, and extremely unhappy with this inconvenience. We will be requesting a full refund. "
