" Car received had significant scratch damage, car was not ready on arrival. On our second day of having the car a number of the dashboard warning lights started flashing, wipers started and would not turn off, we then lost power steering just 2 km from our accommodation only for the car to die in the carpark where we were staying. The recovery vehicle that came to inspect the car could not resolve the issue as the cars computer seemed to shutdown the vehicle. A taxi transfer to the airport was provided but we had no car available to us for the evening and full last day of our hire period. Very disappointed in Avis as I would have considered them to be one of the main hire companies. I will choose Hertz or Europcar over them in future. "
