Also I changed my reservation to avoid the crossborder fee because I decided to stay in country and Auto Europe answered all my questions and responded right away. "
" Everything was fine for me. I walked to the rental agency and picked up my car. I was there maybe 15-20 minutes. They answered all my questions about gas for the car (what kind!), the highway vignette (which I had to pay for separately, which I knew), and they were straightforward with the car inspection and the 1/4 tank of gas. My car was in great shape. The interior was beautiful (the outside was muddy but its winter). It was an almost brand new car. I lucked out that it was automatic, although I didnt reserve an automatic and I didnt have to pay extra. The car ran great and was fun to drive. The return was easy. The staff was a little frazzled and busy. The lot was a little full and difficult to maneuver and find parking in. But I got it parked. The return took maybe 20 minutes and the man was nice. He verified the condition of the car and drove me to the airport to catch my bus. I checked today and there were no mysterious charges and I got my deposit back. "

" This was my second time renting from Usave. This time I was quite annoyed and disappointed. The first time I booked a Suzuki Vitara (or similar) car for nearly 3 weeks. This time I needed a larger car because I had a double buggy with me and knew it would not fit into the Vitara's boot. So I payed the extra and booked a Toyota Auris Estate (or similar). Before booking I sent a couple of emails, asking for confirmation that this is indeed going to be an estate. I received no reply at all. My father, who lives locally went over in person to talk to one of your staff members and was told that this will be an estate. So I booked the car (and paid extra for the bigger size). However, when I arrived to collect the car I was again given a Suzuki Vitara. I told the staff member that this is not what I booked and that I paid extra money to get an estate. He was surprised that I paid more and told me that they do not have any estate cars at all. When my father (who was with me) reminded him that he had come in to talk to them in person (after they ignored my emails) and got confirmation from the same person that we would be getting an estate, he did not have an answer. In the end I was given a slightly bigger Suzuki but it was far from the size of an estate and I struggled to fit the buggy into the boot. I will need to rent a car again in the summer for about 3 weeks but not sure what to do because I'm afraid I will end up getting the same small car again, no matter how much I pay. Would be good to know if there is a way to get a bigger car at all?? Or if you don't own any larger models then I'm wondering why they are on your website and why you charge more when I book.... "
