    Types of Holiday Makers

When it comes to holiday we all have our preferences and one type of vacation may not be fit for two different people. But just how different are we? One thing is common for all of us though: we all can't wait for the next holiday and often dream of being on one while at work.Having tried to classify different holiday makers, we have come to the criteria based on what we are looking for in a break time. Here is a breakdown of six various categories of travellers.

Sometimes all we need is just the peace of mind! Sadly, so seldom do we experience this state. People deprived of this precious feeling may seek to escape somewhere where they can enhance their ability to find that inner peace and retreat to a yoga or meditation place for some me-time in secluded destinations or even monasteries.

Recently becoming a very popular trend in travel are large international music festivals where music fans flock from all different countries. Glastonbury, Roskilde or many other super-stars packed festivals entice thousands of not only young people for a couple of days of music, dance and friends time.

Coming to another type of traveller, we would like to mention people who can fully reload their inner batteries only with close contact to nature. It is only when they are deep in a jungle, hiking in the mountains or watching the northern lights in a secluded village in Finland, with no mobile phone connection, when they can set their minds free and unwind.

For all that extra shopping thrill some would dedicate their entire holiday for hunting for that special thing in Dubai, Cape Town, Tokyo, or Paris. In shopping destinations every day is a shopping day! Bargain hunters search for that perfect item to bring back home from Seoul, Milan or Madrid.

Some of us simply need some time to relax far from the office and everyday routine on a sandy beach and do sweet nothing. All we need is the sun, sand, and the sea. A perfect combination for a relaxing holiday and being lazy while soaking up the sun and reloading vitamin D levels.

To add some spice to our pot of travel makers, here come culture vultures who cannot imagine a holiday without taking part in a cultural event. Indulging in the local culture, paying visits to museums, seeing theatre plays or going to a concert is a synonym for holiday for them. This is one way to look at it, and, perhaps, you may have a different view on what type of travellers there are.
