New Fuel Feature on our Website

Here at Auto Europe, we strive to continuously improve our services. This time, we have introduced a new feature on our booking engine: “Fuel” filter. It has been implemented for car hire search in Spain and Portugal, and will gradually affect other locations you may find on your website.

How does it work?

“Filters” are located on the left side of our booking engine. You may put a “check” next to the preferred fuel option, and your search result will show car hire offers with the fuel policy of your choice:

Fuel options

Now, you may choose between two fuel options:

Pre-purchased Fuel & Return Empty

If you choose this option, you will receive the vehicle fully tanked and will have to pay for the fuel at the pick up. Caution: cars need to be returned empty, as there will be no refund for unused fuel.

The second option is:

Pick up Full & Return Full

If you choose this option, you will pick up the car with the full tank of fuel, and will need to return it full as well. Caution: If you drop off the car without the full tank of fuel, a locally determined refueling charge will be applied.
