Picking up a car hire in Florida and setting off to explore the Sunshine State opens up a whole word of possibilities, in a state which includes the mysterious Everglades, the exciting Miami and the famous Daytona Beach. But for all its many and varied attractions, Florida is best known for it’s theme parks: SeaWorld, Universal Studios and the Walt Disney World are only some of the many parks in the state.
In order to make up the most of your park experience, there are some simply rules you should follow. First of all, wear comfy shoes. It may not seem like it, but you’ll walk miles upon miles, and you wanna be prepared. Second, get to the park early, at least half an hour before opening time.
The parks usually open early and, even though the rides won’t open until the stipulated time, the shops will be open, and you can also use the time to get the lay of the land. Most of the parks will have a parking lot where you can leave your USA car hire.
In order to remember where you left your vehicle, a good trick is to take a photo of the zone and lane markers with your phone or camera. Keep the parking ticket with you if you’re visiting several Disney parks in the same day, since it’ll be valid for all the parking lots without you having to pay for it again.
If you would like to avoid the worst crowds, you may consider travelling during the low seasons. There are usually two low seasons: January 5th till the mid of February and from September to mid December. When queueing for rides, there will usually be two queues: one for groups and one for single people. The single line is usually faster, and if you don’t mind enjoying the ride on your own, it’s a good option.
And finally, take lots of photos and don’t forget to have fun!
