Costa de La Luz
In south west Spain, close to the Portuguese border you find Costa de La Luz (Coast of Light). Start your journey in Gibraltar, Sevilla or Jerez and continue west! Although Sevilla has many attractions such as fine architecture, cathedrals and beautiful bridges this part of Spain have less charter tourists and provides a more genuine part of Andalucia, if you compare it with tourist areas on the Costa del Sol.

Try the local sherry from Jerez or tast sweet strawberries, oranges and other fruits cultivated in this lush area.

Costa del Sol
If you are looking for a vibrant, sunny and international place you should pick up your car hire in Malaga! Here you’ll get instant access to British pubs, modern infrastructor, nice beaches and plenty of restaurants and hotels. Drive east to the city of Nerja. Visit the Nerja Cave with impressive stalactites and stalagmites. The small city it self is also worth a visit. Small resorts like Torremolinos, Fuengirola, Estepona and of course also Marbella can easily be reached if you drive west.

Costa Tropical
Almería makes out the centre of the Costa Tropical. With a rental car in Almería you can drive both east and west. This coastline is much more genuine and layed back than Cost del Sol. Many Spaniards vacation in this area. Almuñécar offers fine historic features as well as nice beaches. If you land in Granada a visit to Alhambra is really a must! With car hire it is easy to drive on the Costa Tropical. The new motorway provides quick and easy access to Malaga.

Costa Calída
Costa Calída, ”the warm coast”, has a warm micro-climate and during July and August the temperatures ofter reach over 30 degrees. Get your car hire from Cartagena and drive either north towards Torrevieja or south. In all it consits of 250 kms of road. Play golf or go for a swim in the warm Meditteranian waters.

Costa Blanca
Most people visiting “The White Coast” arrive in Alicante. At the airport it is easy to get a rental car. Visit Torrevieja in the south or Denía in the north. If you have a small budget and can’t afford to stay in Costa del Sol this is a really good option. For less money you get access to a great nightlife, beaches, golf courses och good roads for transportation.

Costa Brava
Costa Brava stretches from the French border in the north to the city of Barcelona in the south. This is a rather unexplored coastline for many tourists. Fly to Gerona and rent a car. Now you have the chance to get to know this part of Spain before everyone else. Costa Brava offers both rocky and steep coastlines as well as sandy beaches. A nice visit to the amazing city Barcelona will complete your trip.
