Christmas Shopping in London

Do you have your Christmas present list ticked off as yet, or, like most of us, are you just realising that Christmas Eve is only 4 weeks away and you haven't bought one present? Last minute shopping at this time of year can be stressful to say the least, so why not treat yourself to a weekend away and get the shopping done at the same time!

This year, London has a great mix of shopping that will be sure to tick off any item on your Christmas list, not to mention lots of winter fun activities for everyone to join in with.

If you're looking to find that special handmade gift, then you can visit one of the city’s more traditional markets. The markets at The Scope in Bermondsey, South Bank Centre, or the Boutique Market located inside Kew gardens, all feature bespoke stalls full of wonderful gifts and you can also sample the local winter food with the traditional Christmas time cuisine being cooked fresh for you.

What is London without a touch of the vintage? This year at the Olympic Park village, there is a vintage style Christmas market with a real ale festival and a DJ roller disco. Entrance into the event is free and it runs from the 6th to the 8th December.

With the shopping list all ticked off now onto that fun part we promised.

Hyde Park has already been transformed into a winter wonderland which is packed full of great things to do for all ages. In the park, they have an ice-rink, a big top with live shows, and you can meet Santa!
