" I had a very bad experience. I knew the morning of our travel that we would not make it to the office before it closed at 11 pm. I called autoeurope and tried to change pickup time until the following morning. According to Autoeurope staff this was not possible and advised that I contacted Thrifty directly. Staffmember did put my flight number on the booking. I did not get through to Thrifty but to the mothercompany Hertz. The staff member told me that I could not change booking but that they would wait at least an hour. Unfortunately, our plane got severely delayed and we were not out in arrivals until 2.30 am. We decided to leave the airport and returned the next morning to pick up car. We were told that our original booking was void, that we could not get our money back but was offered a car from Hertz at twice the price of that of the original Autoeurope booking. I am very annoyed that I could not change the pick up time when I wanted, that I was not encouraged to change it with car rental company, that my money are lost despite the fact that I rent a car from the same company (Hertz/Thrifty) and that a contract is not honoured. "
