" Cross border feel cost twice the price of the rental which was only raised at pick up. Complete lack of transparency. Also extremely unfair pricing. 158 gbps for what exactly? Sign 2 pieces of paper? I will never rent in Belfast again, much better to catch a coach to Dublin an pick the car there. It's unbelievable how you keep getting away with these money traps. Hide behind the fine print all you want, everyone knows its a scam. "

" I was very happy with Keddy (Europcar). However, I was not totally happy with Auto Europe.. as unable to extend my rental for 1 day..... online nor via calling Auto Europe rep... appears to be an area that could be improved "

" From initial pick up of car at Belfast International airport (Petra on service desk... vg clear service 10/10) to pick up (manager put me at ease) to drop off, very fast and efficient (Ricky 10/10), even calling me about smthg important i left in car... Very good service and car just what I needed "

" I got the car scratched on each side. They showed me the pictures on the tablet so it was hard to verify. When I returned the car, they found a small scratch on the wheel. The company took me 232 euros to repair it!! My mistake is that I did not check the car thoroughly but it is hard to check without map what other companies give. To this day, I have no invoice for repairing the wheel. I have the photo of damaged wheel (which I am sure I didn't make it). "

" The staff were polite, friendly & efficient - however I was persuaded to upgrade to get a more economical Diesel car, only to discover the first time I went to fill the car that it was a petrol - I was annoyed!! I suppose I should have noticed before I left the airport but I shouldn't have had to!! However normally Hertz is good so I will not condemn them for one bad experience. "
