" Eric, our agent at the counter was an absolute pleasure to deal with. He was knowledgeable, patient and friendly. I feel fortunate to have dealt with him. The exterior of the car that was provided was in poor condition, lots of damage which added a bit of stress that some previous damage would be attributed to me. Thankfully this didn't come to pass but I was surprised at the level of damage on the car. "

" My husand and I rented a car with super cover insurance from Autoeurope about two months before our Mexico trip. We have rented similar deals in the past and there were zero issues, we did not need to pay anything extra, granted the car wasn't a Herz vehicle. Not little was our surprise when we were told that our car is not fully insured for Mexico and we were pushed into purchasing additional insurance. We rented a car for 100 euro on the Autoeurope website and ended up paying for the car in Mexico an additional 500 euro. Apart from that, after 26 hours of flying we have to wait in line one and a half hours to pick up the car, while the staff was chatting and texting, ignoring the long que. This was a horrible, horrible experience that we wish never repeat nor rent a car from Hertz. "

When picking up our car MAX Car Rental had many other unhappy customers at the same time that got some random cars because they didn't had what customers have reserved and paid for! There was no option to get any refund and overall customer service was bad! I would definitely not recommend! "

" Hi, I didn't have the pin of my credit card to hand and was told by the staff at Europcar in an aggressive way that debit cards were not accepted, despite getting a message from my bank (afterwards) when the mobile network started working to ask whether I wanted to authorize a card payment which was then too late to rent the rental car. As a result I wasn't able to pick up the car in Cancun. I rang Auto Europe customer services and was told that there would be no refund, not even a partial one and that no refunds are given 48 hours before a booking. I am fairly certain the rental car did not just sit there in the garage and was not rented to anyone during the time that we had planned to rent the car. "

" I have used Autoeurope on many occasions without incident. This is the first time that something went wrong. I am now renting direct with a car rental company for a higher price than I would have paid if using Autoeurope. This is not a good result for me or Autoeurope. "
" My flight was delayed by 2 hours. I rang Autoeurope to explain that I would arrive after the rental location was closed in Monterrey at 2 am. I also rang Mex rental car to advise of the same. I returned to the airport in Monterrey on the following day and they said the reservation was cancelled. I contacted Autoeurope about a refund and they said wait until 24th of June before requesting a refund. I contacted Autoeurope on the 24th of June and they said they would work on the case. 2 weeks have now passed and I have heard nothing back from Autoeurope regarding a refund. Please provide an update. "
