" We were charged over E200 for a minor scratch to a hub cap which had previously been damaged. I sincerely believe that Hertz go out of their way to find such minor defects (I had a similar problem with them before for microscopic damage,). It is a rip off and I will never deal with them again. "

" The experience booking with Auto Europe was good, and fairly seemless. When collecting the vehicle from Hertz I had to provide my contact information again, despite having provided these details when booking. The Hertz representative advised that Auto Europe had not provided these to Hertz. I think it would be good if these details could be provided to rental company in advance of collecting the rental vehicle. "

" I sent this to hertz Munich Airport yesterday - We were given snow chains by your staff for the Citreon C5 Aircrosse SUV that were too small, these could not be fitted when we needed to use the car after heavy snow. Being parked on the top of a steep hill meant we could not use the car for 3 days as it was too dangerous to risk the standard tyres alone on the slippery ungritted road. It took 3 days to get suitable chains that did fit the tyres. We should have been given correct chains. We had to buy chains locally at €216 to get mobile again and drive back to Hertz Munich Airport. Mandy Kása Supervisor dealth with the problem and was very pleasant as were all your staff. We hope to be refunded this €216 and a refund for the 3 days we couldn't use the car. This was all a considerable inconvenience as we were self catering and commuting to the ski slopes in Ellmau Austria and had to make other arrangements. No one is angry about anything , we just could have done without the experience. We hope you will resolve the refunds as fast as possible, thank you, Kevin "

There was a slight mark on the rear bumper ! when a person was taken a travel case out of it marking a mark !!! when handing the car back it was the first thing she noticed and marked the form with an X ! and only I was filly covered with insurance ! I know I would gets bill for repair! and it only needed a good polish !!! " I had a problem when I picked up the car and when I dropped it back. The counter representitve was very aggressively trying to sell additional insurance which I declined. When I returned the car the same person checked the car. he suggested there were scratches on the wing mirror which I could not see. I told him I had no problems with the car and did not see the scratching he was alluding to. (It was dark when I both picked up and returned the car). I asked for a receipt and was told he could not issue a receipt as we did not agree on the damage and it would be posted to my home address. I don't believe the car received any damage while I had it and was quite upset be the manner and attitude of the Hertz representative. "
