" On the date of the return of the car 30th October 2022, the manager named Alicia wanted to charge me for fuel but the level shows full in the car. Regardless that, she didn't hear my concerns about the safety and the hygiene of the car. I could not make any complaint when pick up the car as I was busy to arrive at the funeral of my grandparent. The car was not clean up enough (some white stain like bird's poo) besides the gear and the windscreen was dirty with a lot of stains. Moreover nothing was mentioned that two tyres were damaged on the sheet provided (especially one looks like someone hit it with a knife) finally the engine gave me some frightening as the light for the motor was on and the car was coughing most of the time. Very bad experience and I want to make a complaint and get reimbursement here. Not great about customer service and customer experience at all. Imagine, when the manager Alicia wanted to charge me for the fuel. She said that if her staff get more than 5 litres I will be charged. It was useless to argue with that kind of attitude I went to the petrol station and fill in the tank with 4 litres only.. Such a disgusting disgrace. No one wanted to hear me at the local branch about my concerns. Now I've paid an extra (from my pocket ) 4 liters of fuel and left with no commercial gesture.. you need (Auto Europe) to do something. "

" I received an email a couple of days before my car hire was due to say a debit card is not accepted unless you have confirmed previously with auto Europe. I called the Auto Europe help desk and the customer service rep was not helpful at all as soon as I mentioned Visa debit card he said you will not be able to pick up the car with this card, it must be a credit card. I explained I had picked up a car in London a few weeks ago with my visa debit card he told me there was nothing I could do and would have to cancel the car. I chose not to cancel the car and called the Hertz desk in Charleroi who told me a Visa debit card was acceptable. Your Rep should have been able to check this with Hertz just as I did. "
