" Not nice when you arrive and you guilt-tripped into buying comprehensive insurance. We were told that we really should top up the insurance as even a small scratch would leave us with a €1000 payment. Inurance options should be transparent at the time of booking. This happened to everyone waiting in line and most of them took extra insurance at a high daily charge. Does the staff at collection get commission? It was very unpleasant. Drop off was not explained properly. We gave car back at a different location and were told that there will be a drop off signed for as the office would be closed at the drop off time. There was a sign at the door, however we had to get out of the car at a busy road and double park to read the instructions for drop off. This could be emailed in advance. Then when dropping off the car we were told an email would follow but nothing was confirmed in writing that the car was given back. The deposit was returned a few days later without any notification. "

" I had contacted Auto Europe (by email) about our flight (nearly 2 hrs) delay to Munich. I got a response confirming that Enterprise was notified but that the depot will close at 9pm. When I rang Auto Europe I was told that Enterprise was notified but depot will close at 9.30. I rushed to Enterprise desk and got there just before 9.30. However, Enterprise decided early on in the day to remain open to 11:30. So it is clear that Auto did not contact Enterprise or they would have realised that the desk will be open to 11:30. This caused unnecessary stress. Also Enterprise didn't have my name – I had to evidence the booking from the voucher I am very unhappy with Auto Europe Regards Adrian "

I left it back full on return and requested the amount be deducted from my bill. I was told that they "would look into it". On arrival I also had to wait 40mjns for my replacement car to be cleaned. Overall very unsatisfied. I had booked another reservation with Autoeurope for Saturday- I cancelled this and went directly to the rental company. "

" Fine, but office was jumping down my neck as soon as we arrived to see how it coud make extra money. I explained I already had insurance and then I was given a choice to pre purchase Diesal. Even though I explained my route, I afterwards realised that we woudnt be using such a large amount,and maybe the office could have been hepful in laying out Diesal usage with distances to local areas and then maybe explaining that we wouldnt be needing so much Diesal, especially in a highly fuel efficient vehicle "

" Auto Europe didn`t notice anywhere that the ID card should contain adress. I could avoid so many problems with renting. "
" They dont accept polish ID because it doesnt contain adress . This is a reason for the rent refusal. Never previously met this german requirements for a ID (except driving licence) with an adress. "

" All good. Only issue which I might have was the drop off of the car in Munich. It was ver unclear that all you needed to do was leave the car keys in the car and walk away. I never experienced this before and was a little unsure if it was the right thing to do. "
" The Enterprise Representative continued to speak only German to me, despite me speaking in English. The car came with only 1 quarter tank of fuel, this was not explained at handover and I had to call Customer Services later to inform them. When I indicated I was not happy with the car (wanted a Diesel) and asked for another model, the Agent just shrugged his shoulders. Return was similar, disinterested Staff, took the keys and that was that. "

Only thing lacking was parking for my car for the weekend. But I guess that's to be expected. I parked around the corner and the car was ok. Great value! "
