" Driving in Chile was a good experience - the roads are well maintained and the standards of driving is high. Perhaps it is my age, but I felt that local drivers drove very fast for the road conditions sometimes! Fuel was much cheaper than I am used to, but the toll roads are much more expensive and frequent than usual. Thank you for your help. "
" It was good, but I have a few thoughts that might help: The car was clean and in good condition, but it was very flimsy in comparison to cars in Europe or the US - I would not trust its safety in a crash. I understand that it is a Chinese make. It was not very ergonimocally designed - for example, it was nearly impossible to insert a USB cable into the socket! We saw an identical car hit a dog - the dog was fine, but a lot of the body parts fell off that car! The check in was very, very slow - I was not in a hurry, so it did not matter, but it did take about 40 minutes waiting. Similarly, the drop-off was longer than I am used to. These are not big problems, but I can imagine others getting very frustrated. "
