" Autoeurope were fine for booking but when we were left stranded nobody was there to help or answer a phone.. we were not told when booking that the carwiz zadar airport office closes at 8pm in winter, or that there is an after hours pickup charge, that we argued our way out of, due to our 1hr 45 min wait. " Suggestion - either don't process that credit card on online reservation but just pick up customer data or even if you do state on that webform that this is not the payment for the rental. "
" If a person uses a credit card online to confirm the order then one EXPECTS that the company has that credit card on record and that they will charge all from the same. This assumption resulted with the fact I was unable to get the car and had to take the bus as the voucher was not enough...and yes, it was explained to me that it states on the voucher that one needs the credit card but there is a LOT on that voucher and given credit card was processed one really does not think that it is needed again. "

" I was not told in advance about late check in fee of €50 which was annoying. The rental desk staff blamed airline and Auto Europe. I was 20 minutes later than the time I booked the car for and was told if I was 2 minutes late the same charge would apply so from my point of view this is way to gouge customers for more money on arrival and is not a nice start to your rental. I had pre booked a late check in so according to my reading of your paper work such a fee should not have been applicable. On a positive note the car was good and the staff friendly. "
