" AutoEurope was not very helpful in resolving an issue I had with Budget (they charged my for fuel by "mistake"). AutoEurope seems to just believe the car hire company is right. "

" Budget in Port Elizabeth charged my credit card for fuel - I filled up the car 290m from the drop-off point. After providing AutoEurope with all the evidence (receipts, photos) I was informed I was charged by mistake, and got refunded! Nonsense. The mistake they made is to think people won't query the extra small charges. I believe this scam Avis/Budget is pulling is wide spread in SA - I would expect AutoEurope to remove them from their site. "

" Been using them for years. Very efficient. Excellent prices when compared to going direct to actual Car Hire company. "

" Probably the quickest and best car hire experience in years. Budget staff were ultra efficient. All electronic including signature on contract. Approx 15 minutes from walking into booking office to driving off in hire care .... seamless and very impressive. The drop-off was also seamless. Drop-off staff were available immediately; they checked vehicle and signed off within 5 minutes whilst we loaded our luggage onto a trolley. Definitely use Budget (Avis) again even though they were not the cheapest. Their efficiency (in King Shaka Airport) and quality of vehicle makes up for the slight premium paid over the lowest Auto Europe quote "

" Efficient service at the pick up desk. Slight disappointment of the cleanliness of the vehicle on pick up. I use Budget regularly and appreciate that there is an ongoing shortage of water in South Africa there are other means of cleaning vehicles in these circumstances which are widely used. "

" Been using Auto europe for years. In my opinion by far the best " car hire" comparative website I have come across. I have frequently compared the Auto Europe quote with the quote directly from the "hire" company (or via a link through the airline website) and found Auto Europe nearly always equivalent to or better than going direct. Plus it gives me a wide range of options to choose from "

" In this particular case the whole experience was totally satisfactory. The loss of points in 4 above are due to a previous experience with Interent in Malaga last September and which I complained about without a reply. "
