" The pick up point is a shuttle bus away from the terminal, no mention of this at booking, took the bus 30mins to collect. Car was meant to have a full tank, but only had a half, only noticed when I was 3 miles away, had to return to AVIS to have it noted. Also, an additional £48 per day for full insurance - madness "

I was surprised to get this email looking for my comments before any form of acknowledgement that you had received the car back safely, even though I know you had, as I was told that all returns to the car park were covered by CCTV. Were you happy with the state of the car on its return? I had been advised that a Peugeot 2008 might not register a full tank immediately, so I left the receipt for the filling of the tank at around 5.45.am, in the car, as advised. Full marks to your staff (Stephen?) member, he was extremely helpful. "

The spanner light was ON on the dashboard, indicating that a service was required, which is not nice to find when facing in to a journey. There was no water in the dispenser for the windscreen wipers, which can be quite dangerous in this kind of weather, with lorries spewing up water, muck, etc. "
