Serbia is divided into two distinct geographic segments. In the north you will find flat farmland as far as the eye can see. If you travel south you will see impressive mountains and green forests. Keep an eye on your gas tank, as there are not many petrol stations located outside of the larger cities. The roads are often in bad condition and we recommend you to drive carefully and defensively.
To rent a car in Serbia, you must be at least 21 years old (age can vary by car category) and have held your driver's license for at least 2 years. For drivers under the age of 25 an additional young driver surcharge may apply locally.

Petrol stations are open between 08:00 to 18:00 and closed during the weekend. Petrol stations in larger towns and along the motorway are open also during weekends.
